The partnership extension, will give the Thai based airline exclusive rights across the five EFL finals respectively.
The finals include the Checkatrade Trophy, Carabao Cup, League One and Two Play-Off Finals and the Sky Bet Championship Final.

The EFL saw awareness of its competitions spread across on a National and International level.  Last years finals were attended by just short of 290,000 people and broadcasted in more than 190 territories to fans globally.

Thai Airways will be given complimentary VIP tickets for fan engagement competitions  increasing their digital and social media interaction  in the UK, and on the International stage further increasing their brand.

The extension of the partnership is a product of the EFL’s work with brands internationally to help showcase EFL competitions and sponsors on a global stage.

Shaun Harvey, Chief Executive of the EFL, said: “The international market is increasingly important for the EFL, as we look to raise the profile of the League, our Clubs and the unique excitement and drama of EFL competitions on a global stage.
“Our international television deals alongside streaming platform iFollow, continue to provide international supporters with ever more opportunities to follow the EFL wherever they are in the world.

“The relationship with Thai Airways will help to provide the airline with a unique opportunity to have a presence at all of our showpiece Finals, starting with the much anticipated Carabao Cup Final at the end of the month.”

Thai Airways President, Mr. Sumeth Damrongchaitham, said: “We are pleased to announce Thai Airways will continue to be an Official Supporter of the EFL, this partnership is a wonderful opportunity to connect with football fans from all corners of the world.
