Everton consider Tanzania match as part of expected shirt sponsorship deal

Everton are to consider playing a pre-season match in Tanzania as part of a new sponsorship deal with SportPesa that they are expected to sign.

Delegates from Everton have in Tanzania this week as part of a fact-finding mission as well as meeting local officials.

Dave Harrison, Head of Football Operations and Dave Lewis Head of Security and Stadium Safety, made the near 5,000 mile trip to Tanzania.

The match would most likely take place at the Tanzania Main National Stadium, in the country’s largest city of Dar es Salaam.

SportPesa are expected to be named Everton's new shirt sponsor from next season.
