Everton sign new partnership with current sponsor

Everton have signed a new partnership deal with current main sponsors Chang.

Chang have signed a three-year community partnership with Everton.

As part of the deal they will collaborate on a series of community programmes and initiatives both Thailand and Merseyside. Some of these programmes will include coaching trips to and from Thailand, the Chang Junior Cup and the continued development of the Thaibev Academy in Bangkok.

Chang have been a main partner for Everton since 2004 but that will end after this summer as part of a set of new five-year sponsorship agreements which include a shirt sleeve and training ground sponsor with another company. Everton Chief Executive, Robert Elstone, revealed in January that the value of the deals will be £755 million, however, the identity of the companies have not been revealed yet.

“The enduring success of our partnership with Chang is based on a set of shared values and a deep and genuine friendship between the two organisations,” said Robert Elstone. “I’m really pleased that we will be continuing to work together with a clearly defined focus on community – something which is incredibly important to both organisations".

He added “I would like to thank Chang for everything they have done for Everton over the last 13 years and for the commitment they have now made to support the communities both in Thailand and Merseyside.”
