Everton sign Open deal

Everton have agreed a partnership with golf’s Open Championship.

The deal is related to the staging of this year’s Championship, one of the four annual majors in golf, at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport in July. As part of the deal, the Claret Jug will be taken to Goodison Park later this season before the 146th staging of the tournament.

Everton fans will also get more exclusive content in the build-up to the event.

Everton fans who buy a ticket to The Open between now and midnight on Tuesday 28th February using the promo code 146th OpenEve will receive a voucher for an Open Championship cap.
