Evo Stik side Stamford AFC set for move to Zeeko Arena

In the last competitive game to be staged at Wothorpe Road, Stamford beat Rushall Olympic 3-0 in the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division last week - thanks to goals from Ryan Robbins, Dan Lawlor and Nabil Shariff.

Stamford will now move to their new stadium at Borderville. Their first home senior game at the new facility is against Nantwich Town on December 13.

The honour of the first match at the new 'Zeeco Stadium' will however go to Stamford’s youth team on Friday night when they face neighbours Blackstones. The fixture will act as a dry run for club officials ahead of the first official match to be played at the new complex against the Nantwich Town.
