FA Confirm allocations for step 1-4

The Football Association (FA) have confirmed the allocations for clubs in Steps 1-4 of the National League system for the 2017-18 season.

Three of the teams relegated from the National League North Ferriby United, Southport and York City have been allocated to the National League North division. The other relegated side, Braintree Town, have been allocated the National League South. Because of the extra team in the National League North, Gloucester City, have been transfered to the National League South from the National League North.

As announced last week, Worcester City have taken voluntary relegation down to Step 5 .
