FA Cup 3rd qualifying round draw made
The draw for the Emirates FA Cup third round qualifying took place at Wembley Stadium this Monday afternoon.
40 ties were drawn, the winner of each of the ties will be joined in the 4th qualifying round and be 1 win away from a potential draw against a football league side.
One tie which stands out is the pairing of two clubs who have recent history of winning at Wembley, as last season’s Buildbase FA Vase winners South Shields have been paired with the 2017 Buildbase FA Trophy winners York City.
Third round qualifying ties will be played across the weekend of Saturday 30 September 2017, with winning clubs receiving £7000 from The FA’s prize fund.
This week’s replays start on Monday evening when Cambridge City host St. Albans City, before the majority of the remaining second round qualifying ties take place on Tuesday evening.
