Fleetwood Town fined for anti-doping offence

Fleetwood Town have been fined £4,000 by the Football Association after they admitted to breaking anti-doping rules.

They have been fined for failing to comply with regulation 14(d) due to them being unable to ensure their 'club whereabouts' information was accurate.

Anti-doping rules state clubs are required to provide accurate details the whereabouts of players in order for them to be available for testing at all times.

Manchester City were also charged with a similar offence 3 weeks ago.
