Football Association of Serbia and Capelli Sport Announce Multi-Year Partnership
The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) has entered into a landmark multi-year partnership with global sportswear company Capelli Sport, marking one of the most significant commercial agreements in the Association’s history.
As the new official kit sponsor Capelli Sport will supply performance apparel, training wear, and equipment across all 13 Serbian national teams - men’s, women’s, and youth.
To celebrate the beginning of this collaboration, FSS and Capelli Sport unveiled the national team’s new blue and white kits at the exclusive All in Blue event in Belgrade. Under the slogan “A New Era. A New Color. A New Energy,” the event showcased designs that blend tradition with innovation — symbolizing both Serbia’s footballing heritage and its ambitions for the future.
The Serbian national team will debut the kits in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Latvia on September 6 in Riga and England on September 9 in Belgrade.
The blue home kit, in which Serbia will host England, is made from innovative Honeycomb Mesh fabric, offering a perfect balance of comfort and durability. The material’s structure ensures optimal airflow, quick drying, and exceptional breathability. The front is highlighted by a distinctive print inspired by Serbian tradition, including a Pirot pattern. The kit also brings back the historic crest with four letters S, crafted with cutting-edge Tatami Quality technology.
The white away kit introduces a modern design, precision-knit to balance softness with high-performance function. Its cube-patterned ventilation zones enhance cooling and breathability, ensuring comfort across all match conditions. This refined construction provides players with an advanced level of comfort and airflow, setting a new standard for performance wear.
FSS President Dragan Džajić emphasized the emotional significance of bringing back the blue color to the national team jersey:
“The blue jersey has special value for me personally and carries strong emotions. It was in that kit that I experienced the greatest successes of my playing career, and I’m very glad that the Serbian national team is returning to tradition. I believe this generation will also create new memories and achieve historic results in apparel marked by our new technical sponsor. I want to thank Capelli Sport for the trust they’ve shown and for choosing Serbia as their most important partner on the European continent. I’m convinced that this new kit, with its quality and symbolism, will motivate our players and strengthen the bond with fans who believe in the team,” said Džajić.
FSS General Secretary Branko Radujko highlighted that the new kit unites tradition and modern design:
“We are bringing back the blue jersey that reminds us of historic moments of Serbian football. The details are carefully aligned, with shades that follow the colors of our flag and a Pirot pattern symbolizing unity and deep ties to our roots. Of special value is the return of the old crest, a symbol of emotion and belonging, which will further connect players and fans in the joint fight for a place at the World Cup. The partnership with Capelli Sport has brought one of the most lucrative deals in the history of the Association, and the fact that the next World Cup will be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico gives this cooperation additional weight. Players are very satisfied with the quality and technology of the kits, which is extremely important to us. We are convinced that this jersey brings new energy and becomes a symbol of our ambitions and belief in the success of the national team,” said Radujko.
The partnership between FSS and Capelli Sport was also confirmed in a message from the company’s founder and CEO, George Altirs, who stated:
“We are proud of this partnership because Serbia has one of the richest football heritages in Europe, producing generations of world-class talent. The Football Association shares our values of passion, performance, and player development, and they are making significant investments in both men’s and women’s football. For us, this was a natural fit. We will provide state-of-the-art performance apparel tailored for elite athletes. Beyond that, we are working with the FA on grassroots and youth initiatives to help develop the next generation of Serbian football talent,” said Altirs.
According to the agreement with FSS, Capelli Sport will supply kits, training apparel, and accompanying equipment for all levels of Serbian national teams — from senior to youth squads, in both men’s and women’s football.
The new kits will soon be available at www.capellisport.com, capellisport.eu, www.fss.rs, and with selected retail partners.
