Football meets Rugby Union at Saracens Allianz Park

It's not often that football and rugby union meet as one but that happened at Allianz Park today (Weds15th).

Saracens have swept all before them in England and Europe this season and there was no more fitting venue to hold a networking event for the sports industry.

Organised by Footballtradedirectory.com (FTD) the networking day was the latest in an long series of similar events around the country. Previous top class venues have included Chelsea, Manchester City, Stoke City and Bolton Wanderers.

FTD's owner John Booth enthused:

'We were delighted with today's turnout and we had a fantastic array of exhibitors. Thermopatch Sports who are specialists in applied badges sponsored the day.

'We had a good mixture of clubs and businesses and all concerned seemed to have a good event.'

Speaking about the sponsorship Mark Spink the UK Business Development manager for Thermopatch Sport said how his business had benefitted tremendously over the past three years virtue of the FTD events around the country.

The next event is at Bolton's Macron stadium in September. The date is Thursday 8th September followed by Stoke City on November 3rd.
