Former Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is a wanted man
As Frank Lampard announced yesterday that he would be departing New York City FC at the end of the year and said he would announce his future plans ‘very soon’ rumours were widespread that Sky Sports have already stepped in and offered him a role.
But according to 'Metro' Sport, 'It’s unclear if the 38-years-old wishes to continue playing, but if he chooses instead to move into coaching or punditry then Chelsea are ready to offer him a position.'
Reports suggest the west London club would create a coaching or ambassadorial role for their former hero.
Lampard was keeping tight lipped but his future looks sure to be announced sooner rather than later with Sky believed to want him to join their team of pundits as soon as possible.
