Former Manchester United and West Ham striker Teddy Sheringham names as new Steveage manager

Former Manchester United, West Ham and Spurs striker Teddy Sheringham has been appointed as Stevenage's new manager.
Sheringham had been working under Sam Allardyce at his former club West Ham as an attacking coach, but will now leave that post to take over at the League Two side.
the 49 year old holds the record as the oldest goalscorer and outfield player in Premier League history, and played for a number of clubs during his 25 year career, as well as representing England 51 times.
He replaces the outgoing Graham Westley, who ends his third stint at the club, having previously taken them from the Conference to League One, before leaving to manage Preston.
His spell at Preston was rather underwhelming, and he returned to Broadhall Way in March 2013, but could not prevent his side being relegated from the third tier last season.
he managed to guide his side to the play-offs this season, but saw his side beaten 4-2 on aggregate by Southend.
