Former Manchester United stars the "Class of '92" get approval to take over Salford City
Gary and Phil Neville, Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs, all part of the same academy that went on to lead United to years of success for over a decade, have banded together to take over the greater Manchester side.
They have all been involved with the club for several months since they first announced the takeover in March, attending games, taking training sessions and generally helping with the day to day running of the club.
But their takeover, alongside business partner Peter Lim, has been officially verified by both the FA and the Northern Premier League.
The Class have a 50% stake as does Lim, who has also recently taken over at Spanish side Valencia.
Lim, whose estimated to be worth £1.5bn, failed in an attempt to take over Liverpool in 2010.
