Former Tottenham man Jon Sellins gets top FA Job
Jon Sellins has been appointed as the new operations director at the Football Association
Sellins, who joins from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, will be responsible for venue operations at Wembley Stadium and St George's Park, English soccer's main training and technical development facility, and for ensuring both buildings meet the FA's wider strategic targets.
Before joining Spurs, Sellins held senior roles at Earls Court & Olympia, Tough Mudder and London 2012, while he began his career working at Wembley Stadium in its original iteration.
"I am pleased to be welcoming Jon to the FA and back to Wembley Stadium," said FA chief financial officer Mark Burrows. "Jon joins us with a wealth of experience and a distinct track record of success. He has a clear objective to lead a team to ensure both Wembley Stadium and St George’s Park strengthen their positions as world class venues."
Sellins added: "I am delighted to be returning to Wembley in a permanent role. I have a long and happy association with the stadium and I look forward to ensuring that both Wembley and St. George’s Park continue to deliver the very best service to all customers and stakeholders."
