Free Coaching Workshops with Colchester United FC

 

Three free FA Licensed coaches' club workshops are being delivered by the Essex County FA in partnership with Colchester United FC's Centre of Excellence.

The aim of such workshops is to help coaches work with foundation players.

Coaches are able to begin the new season on Saturday 3rd September with a 'Who we are & how we play' scheme, designed to examine how a coach builds their philosophy around the their team's style of play, alongside their coaching belies and values.  The session also assists coaches in developing attacking and defensive play, foundations and systems.

Workshops continue on Saturday 14th January with a ' How we coach' session. The theory and practical workshop describes vital components that create a good learning environment, alongside how to engage and challenge players and consider methods of reflection.

The final workshop is scheduled to take place either 22/29th April, however, precise details are yet to be confirmed.

All three workshop sessions are free of charge for FA Licensed Coaches' Club members, who will be accredited with three hours of Continuing Professional Development towards their total.
