Guiseley fire damage to be repaired thanks to local community

Following a fire at Nethermoor Park last Tuesday (31st January), Guiseley have announced that the turnstiles should be ready for action for this weekends match against Eastleigh.

Guiseley released a statement after the fire with General Manager Adie Towers saying: “The Football Club would like to thank the member of the public who alerted the emergency services and thank the Fire Service for their swift response to the incident, which prevented the fire spreading to the changing rooms and clubhouse and causing more extensive damage."

At the time of the incident the club thought that the affected turnstiles would be out of action for the next 2 match, however, in a statement Guiseley said that due "to the efforts of our outstanding volunteers and some brilliant local tradespeople we now have the problem under control."
