Huddersfield Town sign shirt sponsorship deal

Recently promoted Huddersfield Town have confirmed that online betting company Ope Sports will be their new front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2017/18 Premier League season.

The deal with Ope Sports is described as "multi-year", and will see the gaming website's logo emblazoned across the team's home and away playing kits, as well as on the pitch-side LED hoardings and across the club's online and social media channels, for the duration of the deal.

“We are delighted to welcome Ope Sports as the club’s official shirt sponsor," said Huddersfield's chairman Dean Hoyle.

He added "This is without a doubt our biggest season to date as we play in the Premier League for the first time in our history. The growth of our international fanbase since promotion and the Premier League makes OPE SPORTS an attractive partner for our Club, and our growing reach around world provides OPE SPORTS with an ideal platform to continue its own growth.”
