Hull City midfielder Jake Livermore to face no action over testing positive for cocaine

Hull City midfielder Jake Livermore has escaped a potential two year ban after testing positive for cocaine.
The former Spurs midfielder tested positive for the drug in May and was suspended by both his club and the and The FA pending an investigation.
But the it appears that the FA have taken into consideration the mitigating circumstances surrounding him taking the drug, as it came only days after the inquest into the death of his newborn child.
The death of his child is still undergoing legal proceedings and cannot be divulged as a result, but the FA have taken the England international's depression after the death into consideration.
A disciplinary hearing took place last week at which it was decided the FA would not extend its provisional suspension.
it is believed that whilst Hull have made no official announcement lifting the player's suspension, they will begin to integrate him back into the squad, who are currently attempting to win promotion back to the Premier League following their relegation last season.
