Ladbrokes Championship side Livingstone see sponsorship deal terminated

The Ladbrokes Championship outfit reached an agreement late on Tuesday evening with the gas metering services company – which is based in Livingston – to sever its ties despite still having a year to run on the existing contract. A three-year deal had been agreed in June 2013.
However, Energy Assets will continue to support the club’s youth foundation for the upcoming season.
It does mean, though, the club will have to rebrand the stadium, having made the Energy Assets Arena home for the past two seasons.
A statement on the club’s website read: “The club wishes to thank Energy Assets for its financial support and Energy Assets hope this will provide the football club with an opportunity to benefit financially through additional sponsorship.
“Livingston Football Club is now free to engage with a new sponsor.”
