League One side Peterborough extend deal with kit sponsors Mick George ltd
League One side Peterborough have announced they have extended their kit sponsorship deal with Mick George Ltd.
The new deal means the locally based company will continue to have their name on all Posh shirts from the first team right down to all the Academy teams until the end of the 2016/17 season.
Posh Commercial Manager Alex Harris was delighted with the extension: "Everyone at the football club are thrilled that Mick George have agreed to continue with their shirt sponsorship through to the conclusion of the 2016-2017 campaign."
"Mick George Ltd are a progressive company and have demonstrated their commitment to local sport with a host of commercial deals, the biggest of which is with us here at Peterborough United. I would like to personally thank Neil Johnson and the board of Mick George Limited for their continued support of the football club and look forward to strengthening the relationship over the coming seasons."
Technical Waste Director of Mick George, Neil Johnson, said: "Mick George are delighted to be extending their shirt sponsorship with Peterborough United to the end of the 2016-17 season, having already seen many positives from their association with the club to date."
"Although the current season has seen mixed results for the 1st team on the pitch, we remain extremely excited by off field events at the club and are 100% behind the club`s long term strategy."
"The development of the stadium and training facilities, together with the hard work of the community department will ensure a long term legacy for the City of Peterborough and its residents. We are proud to be part of this process that is laying the foundations for what we expect will manifest into future success for the club both on and off the pitch."
The Posh recently parted ways with manager Darren Ferguson after an indifferent season so far, with the club currently in 9th place in League One, two points off the play-offs.
