Football News 24/7

Ronnie Moore has left League Two side Hartlepool by mutual consent with the side 22nd in League Two.

Moore joined the club in December 2014 and managed to keep them in League Two last season.

The 63 year old saw his side make a great start to this season, winning four matches on the spin, but results have since taken a turn for the worse, with the club now only four points above the relegation zone having won just two of their last ten games.

“This is an extremely difficult decision but one we feel is right for the football club,” said chairman Gary Coxall, on the club's official website.

“Ronnie has worked tirelessly to bring success to the Club during his time at The Vic and we thank him sincerely for those efforts and wish him well for the future.”

Moore had managed a number of clubs prior to his spell at Hartlepool, including Tranmere Rovers, Rotherham, and Oldham Athletic.
