Leeds United renew sponsorship deal with shipping firm
Leeds United have renewed the sponsorship deal with shipping firm, Clipper Logistics for another season.
Clipper first started sponsoring Leeds in 2015 when they signed a two year deal to become the sponsors of Elland Road's East Stand. A year later they also became the back-of-shirt sponsors of the club. The latest deal will see both sponsorship arrangements extended for the 2017/18 season.
In total, the combined value of both the shirt and the stand sponsorship is likely to be worth upwards of £1 million.
“We’re incredibly proud to have the Clipper name associated with Leeds United, a club I’ve supported all my life," said Steve Parkin, Clipper executive chairman and founder. "Clipper was established in Leeds and is an important success story for the city, having grown into a UK leader in retail logistics, and employing over three thousand people across our sites. We want to share our own success, whilst celebrating our Leeds heritage.”
