Leicester City agree deal with DirectAsia
Leicester City have announced that they have agreed a deal that will make DirectAsia, who are an online insurance provider, an official partner of the Premier League Club
The company are based in Singapore and Thailand and will become official partners for the current season. This latest deal illustrates the growing commercial presence in the South East region of Asia, which is an obvious area to target as they are owned by King Power International Group, a travel firm based in Thailand.
Although the length of the deal was confirmed as a 1 year deal, the financial terms of the deal were undisclosed.
Speaking about the deal the Chief Executive of DirectAsia, Edip Okur said “We are delighted to be an official partner of Leicester City, a club with rich history and strong community values which closely align with our brand.”
The head of partnerships at Leicester City, Harj Hir added: “We are delighted to welcome DirectAsia on board our growing list of global partners. Our popularity in Asia, especially Thailand, has already demonstrated substantial growth for our partners in this region. We will work closely with DirectAsia to deliver the best possible return on their investment.”
