Lumosa is bigger than just the UK. It is headquartered in the technological heart of the Netherlands, namely Eindhoven. From there Lumosa has grown into an international company. With locations in Germany, Italy, New Zealand and China, among others, we deliver sustainable and energy efficient lighting solutions worldwide.
The UK location - which falls under your responsibility - currently has one sales employee, who makes sure everything runs smoothly. He does this a lot in collaboration with Lumosa HQ (Netherlands). Your goal is to manage and expand the current Lumosa UK team with the most driven individuals.
What will you do?
As Commercial Director you will have the unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the ambition and growth of Lumosa. You will bring the market in full view and go for the best match with the client!
As full-time Commercial Director your responsibilities will include all B2B deals that are made. You close these deals yourself. Every day you are busy building strategic partnerships and looking for new strategic sales opportunities. You interact with the purchasing, finance and logistics departments and strive to achieve the goals in terms of turnover and margin. In short, a varied job that no two days are the same!

Who are you?
You have creative, innovative and analytical skills with regard to (technical) questions, which you translate into solutions. You have excellent presentation, persuasive and negotiating skills. You are very customer and result-oriented and have good communication skills. You are also proactive, enterprising and driven in the search for commercial solutions. You must be representative and correct in dealing with a variety of people. Sales is second nature to you. Collegiality and empathy are also part of this. You are flexible and can work independently as well as in a team. You have at least 5 years work experience in a similar position.
