Liverpool announce partnership with Alcatel
Premier League side Liverpool have announced that they have agreed a partnership deal with Alcatel.
Alcatel, who manufacture smartphones, have entered a partnership that makes Alctel the official smartphone of the Merseyside team on Australia and New Zealand.
The length of the contract has been undisclosed officially, however, there are reports that the deal will last until the end of the 2018-19 season.
Different marketing campaigns will be run in both Australia and New Zealand in order to make people aware of the partnership between Liverpool and Alcatel.
Liverpool's chief commercial officer, Billy Hogan stated “We are proud to partner with a brand like Alcatel, which is committed to delivering innovative technology that will bring us even closer to our fans,”
Billy Hogan believes it is important for the club to be “able to engage with LFC fans across the globe".
He added “We hope the partnership is the beginning of a fruitful and long-term relationship. We look forward to engaging with more supporters than ever before alongside Alcatel.”
