Manchester City new deal with Star
Star, a Nigerian beer brand, has been unveiled as a regional partner of Premier League side Manchester City.
Star will become the club’s official beer partner for Nigeria, and will receive access to their imagery and archived content. Nigerian fans will also have the opportunity to win trips to watch Manchester City home games, which will include a meet and greet with the players.
“Even though we are Nigeria’s foremost beer brand, we continue to refresh the Star brand, which is what Manchester City are doing to football,” said Nigerian Breweries marketing director Franco Maria-Maggi.
“They bring a freshness to the established football order, and we are happy to partner with them as we both want the same things: to excite football fans and to give them memorable, unforgettable moments.”
