Manchester City sign sponsorship deal with Valvoline
Valvoline, an automotive lubricant brand, has signed a multi-year deal with Manchester City.
The company, which is based in USA, will become the official automotive lubricants partner to the club. They will work with each other on putting together a series of marketing campaigns that will be used in both USA and the UK.
The financial terms of the deal were undisclosed.
“Everyone at Manchester City is excited to kick-off our partnership with Valvoline,” said the senior vice president of partnerships for City Football Group, Damian Willoughby. “As a globally recognised organisation which operates across a range of markets where our fanbase is strong and continuing to grow, we are looking forward to collaborating with them to connect with our global supporters in new and engaging ways.
“Innovation and progress are at the heart of both of our organisations and working together will allow us to develop creative campaigns everyone can enjoy.”
Manchester City have recorded end of year profit for the last two financial years after recording a £197m loss in 2011. The change in fortunes have been partly down to the club being busy of late securing both global and regional partners.
