Manchester City striker appoints management agency

Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus has been announced as the latest client of Octagon Brazil.

The deal means, the agency will be in charge of the Manchester City star’s image management and social media accounts, and will also represent Jesus in sponsorship negotiations.

The deal was confirmed on Jesus’ Instagram account in association with Brazilian Fifa World Cup winner Ronaldo, who is also a partner of Octagon.

Gabriel Lima, chief executive of Octagon Brazil, said: “We see athletes as diverse influencing profiles, which can be linked to the most varied brands.”

Ronaldo added: “A high-performance athlete needs image management. Certainly, Gabriel Jesus will take the name of our agency worldwide. I am motivated to return to work with athletes and proud to start on the right foot.”
