Manchester United set to reward Mourhino with 5 year deal

According to the Sunday press, Jose Mourhino will be offered a new five-year deal this summer to oversee the £1BN transformation of Manchester United.

The Special One is already on a three – year contract with a further twelve month option on United’s part worth £10m per annum but the United hierarchy look set to hand Mourhinoa new deal as he looks to secure a dynasty at United

He took over last summer where made a handful of signings that included Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan

But after holding talks with Old Trafford owners the Glazers executive vice chairman Ed Woodward is now putting a new 'mega – package' together according to The Sun

Mourinho’s pay packet will be bumped up by a further £2M per year with the aim of keeping him until 2022 at least.

But he will also be promised an unprecedented amount of cash to ensure he brings in the players who can make United Europe’s No 1 again.

The 53 year old has already spent almost £150M on world record buy Paul Pogba (£89.3M), Eric Bailly (£31M), Henrikh Mkhitaryan (£27M) and free transfer Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

But he also has plans to sign Athletic Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann who is expected to cost £100M.
