Middlesbrough fly high with new partnership

Middlesbrough have announced a new partnership with Newcastle Airport.

Branding of the airport will appear at Middlesbrough's Riverside stadium. In addition, fans will be provided with a series of tickets and flight discounts throughout the season.

“As our partnership programme continues to grow it’s great to be able to add another regional partner whose services can be of a benefit to our fanbase,” said Middlesbrough’s head of partnerships, Lee Fryett. “We are also looking forward to working with the airport to promote its service and help promote the region inter­nati­onally.­”

Newcastle Airport’s business development director, John Irving, added, “It’s exciting times to be a Middlesbrough fan with the team back in the Premier League and we are delighted to have signed this exciting partnership. Our goal is to be the UK’s most welcoming airport and as we start to see more Boro’ shirts in the terminal, we believe this partnership offers the perfect platform for us to highlight all of the great destinations available from Newcastle International.”
