Middlesbrough to extend Adidas team wear deal
The club have this revealed that their kit and training wear deal with Adidas has been extended.
There's no confirmation as to how long the extended agreement will last but it means the new kit for the 2016/17 season will once again be designed and made by the sportswear giant.
Boro say they are "poised to unveil" the latest kit, to be worn by the squad in their first season back in the Premier League.
Boro chief executive officer Neil Bausor said: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with adidas and are looking forward to working together in the Premier League.”
Gavin Thomson, adidas Managing Director for north Europe, added: “We are proud of the progress made by the club as they return to the top flight.
“We are excited by the prospect of continuing to grow the partnership as the club move into that next chapter."
Boro's deal with Adidas has been in place since 2009.th the bottom three dropping into the Sky Bet League 1.
