Specsavers in Horsham, has become an official sponsor of Kirdford Cougar’s under-12 football team and has kitted them out with brand new kits to replace the existing one which is two years old.

One of the team’s star players, Luke Kopiec, is visually impaired and Specsavers have given him a free pair of prescription sport’s goggles to aid his sight on the pitch.

The team have also been given a special post-season award to give to one of the players – the ‘Should’ve gone to Specsavers’ trophy.

John Kopiec, Kirdford Cougars coach says: “It is really difficult for club’s located in rural locations to gain access to sponsorships and we were delighted when Specsavers offered to sponsor us. This is a great partnership and we would like to thank Specsavers for its generous support of our club.”
