Northampton Town announce sponsorship extention

Northampton Town Football Club have announce that Opus Energy will remain the club's proud back of shirt sponsors until the end of the 2017/18 season.

Opus Energy, who are based Northampton, are one of biggest business energy suppliers in the UK. The agreement signals the company’s aim to continue to support the local community.

Branding for Opus Energy will be seen both on the back of the team shirts as well as throughout the stadium.

Andy Nash, Director of Operations at Opus Energy, said “Giving back to the local community is hugely important to us, and with our continued support of the Cobblers, we hope that we can give something back to our employees. Over the last two years, we’ve added 150 new roles to the business here in Northampton, bringing more NTFC fans into the company.  Our employees enjoy the great opportunities that our partnership with the Cobblers brings, such as meeting the players and access to tickets."

He added "Northampton has a proud sporting tradition, and by continuing our association with the Cobblers, we hope to see more promotions and success as seen over recent years.”
