Nottingham Forest seal return to the Premier League

Nottingham Forest ended a 23 year wait to return to the top flight after they beat Huddersfield 1-0 in the Championship Play-off final.

Forest clinched victory after an unfortunate own goal from Huddersfield's Levi Colwill, who had two penalty claims turned down by referee John Moss.

Forests' promotion completes a remarkable turnaround for a club who were bottom of the league when manager Steve Cooper took over in September.

A remarkable run of form saw them climb the table and even came close to sealing automatic promotion before eventually losing out to Bournemouth.

Despite the heartache of losing the final Huddersfield can still reflect on a successful season contending the play-offs having been unfancied for promotion at the start of the season.
