Oldham Athletic appoint new CEO

Oldham Athletic have appointed Mark Moisley as the new Chief Executive for the club. Mark will now take the job on a permanent basis after being the interim CEO since the start of October this year.

Mark is not new to the club as he was previously the commercial director for the two years previous to becoming CEO. In addition to this he has also spent a further 16 years working for various sporting organisations such as Sunderland and IMG.

Almost immediately after becoming the interim CEO Mark reduced ticket prices to the lowest in League 1 following a supporters survey to find out what supporters want.

Mark said to the Oldham club website: “We are all aware of the current difficulties the club face, however I had no hesitation in accepting the challenge to take on the role permanently. You have to have belief in your ability and confidence that you can make a difference."

He added “We have a tremendously hard working staff behind the scenes from the manager down, and we are determined to do whatever we can to move the club forward. We need the club and the fans to pull together and I hope three points on Saturday can be a start.”
