Oldham Athletic sign Ronaldo!

League One side Oldham Athletic have signed Ronaldo, but not the Brazilian superstar.

Latics fans might have hoped it was the World Cup-winning Brazilian, but no shock to discover it is actually 16-year-old winger Ronaldo Brown from Manchester who has joined the Latics' youth team  after being released by Liverpool.

Brown was named after the former striker and the theme runs in the family as his twin brother is called Rivaldo and sister is named Trezeguet.

Their mum Denise chose the names because of her love of the Brazil side.

She told the Daily Mail:  "I love football and the boys were born in 1998 - the year of the World Cup. I liked the Brazil side so I named them after Ronaldo and Rivaldo.

"They also have a younger sister called Trezeguet after the French player (David)."
