Paul Warne appointed Rotherham United manager

Already relegated Rotherham United have appointed interim boss Paul Warne as their new manager on a one-year rolling contract.

Warne took over as interim manager in November last year after Kenny Jackett resigned.

They were relegated to League One after losing to Fulham at the weekend with seven games still remaining in the season.

He added "Whilst he has held the title of fitness coach, he has always been much more than that under a succession of managers who have all tapped into his knowledge, motivational skills and coaching ability."
