Poland: SportKlub win Polish broadcasting rights for Copa Libertadores

Polish pay-TV broadcaster, SportKlub, have secured the media rights in Poland to the 2016 Copa Libertadores.
Founded in 1960, the Copa Bridgestone Libertadores as its also known by, is South America's most prestigous club competition and is contested between 38 teams from 11 countries in the CONMEBOL & CONCACAF regions.
Previously, the rights had been owned by Polish public broadcaster, Telewizja Polska (TVP). However for the 2016 edition of the South American elite club competition, SportKlub will show 48 live games throughout the competition. Also during the competition, SportKlub will air 24 episodes of the tournement's magazine programme.
Current champions of the competition are Argentine club, River Plate. The coverage for the competition starts on the 3rd February, with Peruvian side Universidad César Vallejo taking on Brazil's Sao Paulo FC followed by Bolivian side Oriente Petrolero match against Columbian team Santa Fe. (MA)
