Premier League: Arsenal enter content partnership with China's Total Soccer
Within the agreement, the club based in north London will provide exclusive content including player interviews and videos to be played on the show. The show runs for two hours every Monday and Arsenal become the first Premier League club to partner with Total Soccer.
The club's chief commerical officer Vinai Venkatesham spoke about the new deal, “Total Soccer plays an important role in the rapid growth of interest in football, the Premier League and Arsenal, We have many passionate Arsenal fans in China and this exclusive arrangement by a Premier League club will bring them closer to Arsenal and help attract many more fans to follow us.”
This deal with CCTV follows on from Arsenal's recent business in the Chinese market. Towards the end of 2015, the club signed a three-year sponsorship deal with lottery provider DJI Holdings and also entered into a partnership with soccer schools operator iRena. (MA)
