Premier League champions Manchester City have released images showcasing how their new City Football Academy will look.
The images were submitted to Manchester council's planning department, to show how the club are to offer sponsorship opportunities around the CFA, which is set to open this month.
The facility will have 12 youth development pitches, four first team football pitches, plus the 7,000 capacity Youth Arena, the name of which is one of many sponsorship opportunities available.
There will also be expanded City in the Community activity plus facilities for local residents, as the club look to expand their youth and development programme in order to bring more youth players through to the first team.
This is seen as a long term solution to the Financial Fair Play regulations, which City have already fallen foul of. The have been fined millions by UEFA and also have a reduced squad for the Champions League.
Presently, City have only two players registered in their 25 man Premier League squad who came through City's youth system- John Guidetti, who's currently on loan at Celtic, and Dedryck Boyata.
Their longest serving player Micah Richards, another youth academy product, is currently on loan in Italy.
