Premier League: Everton take the iniative in the race for Europe whilst United go 7 clear at the top

Manchester United went 7 points clear of rivals City after a 2-1 win over Southampton. Everton were the only other side in the top seven to win as Liverpool and Arsenal draw, and Chelsea and Tottenham also fail to win.
