Premier League: Former England and Tottenham manager Glenn Hoddle joins QPR as first team coach
Premier League side Queens Park Rangers have appointed former England boss Glenn Hoddle as first-team coach.
The 56-year-old will work with fellow coaches Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond in assisting manager Harry Redknapp.
Incidentally, this is not the first time a former England manager has worked under Redknapp, who has himself been strongly linked with the job in the past.
Steve McClaren took on a short term role last season, before leaving to take over at Derby, who in a bizarre twist were the side QPR beat in the play-off final to get back into the Premier League.
Hoddle stated that he 'has always loved coaching' and 'can't wait to meet the players'.
Redknapp said: "Glenn will be great. He has a brilliant knowledge of the game and will be fantastic out on the training ground with the players."
