Premier League: Manchester City's 'Football Group' secures two new partnership deals



 

Manchester City’s parent company, City Football Group has announced two new partnership deals.

Telecoms brand, Digicel, becomes the the official communications partner for Manchester City and New York City FC across the Caribbean, Central America and the South Pacific.

The deal will see them create multi-media content as well as providing community coaching.

“We are delighted to welcome Digicel as our very first partner in the Caribbean, Central America and South Pacific Islands. Digicel has invested significantly in growing, developing and marketing football across their regions for several years and we are looking forward to working together to bring exciting promotions and content to football fans across these markets,” said Omar Berrada, commercial director of City Football Marketing.

The group has also signed a “multi year partnership” with sports nutrition firm, MusclePharm. This will run across its entire football portfolio, including Manchester City Women’s FC, Melbourne City and Yokohama F. Marinos.

Whilst City have been securing new partnerships off the field, they are also looking to strengthen on it as well, with the club's chairman this week saying in an interview that they are ready to start signing the players who are among the best in the world.
