Premier League: Manchester United agree deal with online trading company Swissquote

Premier League side Manchester United have confirmed a global partnership with online financial and trading services provider Swissquote.
Swissquote, already a partner of the championship-winning Mercedes Formula One team, were established in 2000 in Switzerland. They will be United's first commercial partner in the forex category.
“Swissquote are one of the top ten largest forex brokers in the world and are by far the strongest and most reliable competitor in the market," suggested Manchester United group managing director Richard Arnold, as the partnership was announced on Monday.
"The technology and services they offer are superior to anything else available, offering customers the ability to take their finances into their own hands. Much like Manchester United, Swissquote strives for perfection, looking to innovate, influence and enhance the industry it works within by recreating the future of banking.”
Swissquote chief executive and co-founder Marc Burki added: “As co-founder of this company just 25 years ago, this is a very important milestone to add to our young history and it makes me realise how far Swissquote Bank has come.
"Swissquote Bank immediately identified Manchester United as the perfect match for a partnership. We share the same values – transparency and trust being ones among others – both entities have a great reputation and are very solid which means we are both there for the long run.”
The finances behind the deal were not disclosed.
United are currently 4th in the Premier League as they look to retain their Champions League status, but their more immediate concern will beating League Two side Cambridge in their FA Cup Fourth Round Replay next week.
They were held 0-0 by the U's last Friday, and with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City being knocked out over the weekend, the chances of winning some silverware this season have increased for United.
