Premier League: West Brom owner wants quick sale this summer or will wait for another year

West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace confirmed he is looking to sell the club, but only if it can be done in time for next season.
Groups from China and the USA are believed to be interested in buying the club, with Peace asking for £150m, but the current owner is mindful of sealing a deal in enough time to let manager Tony Pulis build for next season.
Pulis has steered the club away from relegation trouble since taking over in the new year, and is expected to stay on as part of the next ownership structure.
Peace, 58, is looking for £150m but it is expected than any potential investors will look to start the bidding nearer the £100m mark, given the Baggies lack of precedent for winning trophies or qualifying for European football.
With Peace owning almost 90% of the company that owns West Brom, negotiations would be comparatively straightforward, as only one person would act for the sellers.
However if an agreement can't be agreed in good time, Peace is thought to be happy to wait until next summer to make the sale.
