Robbie Hunter Paul to star at Rugby Industry Trade Day at AJ Bell Stadium

If you are involved in running a rugby club under either code – then the place to be on July 13th is the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford. The reasons are simple:

This event, sponsored by Access control and security experts Geoquip Worldwide, promises to be the biggest rugby exhibition in the North for many years with over 50 exhibitors and 200 delegates networking in an informal manner.

Organised by Rugbytradedirectory.com (RTD) the formulae follows a very successful one used by Footballtradedirectory.com a partner business.

The event is free to attend and  exhibitors cover all aspects of the running a rugby club, both league and union,  – from kit to security, sponsorship to ticketing, advertising to safety, websites to audio, catering to travel and so on.

RTD managing Director John Booth said; ”We have organised over 30 football networking events over the past few years and we have been urged by many in rugby that we know to organise a rugby themed event. The AJ Bell Stadium is a natural choice, apart from superb facilities and easy access it is the home of top flight rugby league and rugby union clubs.

On top of that we have the privilege of welcoming Robbie Hunter Paul as main speaker and there is no bigger name in rugby. ”

Robbie Hunter Paul enthused: ”I can say I am really looking forward to what will be a fantastic ‘Rugby Networking Day’. Following my 18 years as a pro Rugby player I now work in the commercial sector of the game and I understand how important building relationships with likeminded individuals is to being successful in this business.

I was honoured to be asked to speak on the day and I hope the last ten years on the after dinner and motivational speaking circuit will offer the audience some good insight to take away to their own businesses as well as keep everyone entertained. I look forward to seeing all those attending soon”

Karl Derbyshire of Geoquip Worldwide explained how delighted they are to be the first sponsors of this inaugural Rugby event. ”For many years Geoquip Worldwide formerly Broughton Controls have enjoyed an association with many clubs within the Rugby fraternity across both codes.

Geoquip are a major force in the spectator entrance equipment market and have a complete range of General and VIP admission solutions. Coupled with our industry partnerships in the access and ticketing field ensures that we are a natural choice for many projects. ”
