Russian Football Union 'can't afford' to pay head coach and former England manager Fabio Capello

Russian football chiefs apparently 'can't afford' to pay Former England manager Fabio Capello, who is currently in charge of their national side.
The Russian Football Union (RFU) has not paid Capello since June, who at £7m a year, is the highest paid international coach in the world.
Capello earnt a reported £5m a year whilst manager of the England team, and this year signed a contract extension with Russia that takes him through to 2018, when the nation will host the World Cup.
"We have no money to pay Capello's salary," Sergei Stepashin, a member of the executive committee, admitted.
"It's wrong, but when they signed the contract they should have thought through how it's going to be financed. Today we need to look for sources of funding."
The 68 year old has been in charge of Russia since 2012, and despite leading his side to the World Cup in Brazil this summer, they failed to win a single game, going out in the group stages.
They are currently second in their Euro 2016 qualifying group after one win and two draws, and take on group leaders Austria at the weekend.
