The duo were appointed by as joint-managers in January 2015 after successful spell in charge of Ramsbottom United. During their time at Salford they have led the club to two consecutive promotions and the FA Cup 2nd round.

The club are looking like they could get promotion for a third season with winning eight of their last eleven matches to take them to second place, 11 points behind leaders AFC Fylde.

Speaking to the club's official website about his new deal Johnson said "The opportunity we've been given is beyond our wildest dreams. To be doing this so early in our careers is fabulous - we're ecstatic to have agreed this deal and are buzzing".

Morley added "I'm not ashamed to say how I feel - we've worked hard and done well and we're both made up. This is a massive opportunity - when we set out to do something we want to do it well and are looking forward to pushing the club on even further".
