SkyBet to put on free travel for Cardiff City fans after postponement

Sky Bet, the sponsors for the EFL, will provide free travel for Cardiff City fans for their rearranged match against Brighton.

The match between Cardiff and Brighton was postponed on Friday night due to fog.  

600 Cardiff fans had made the trip to the south coast but Sky Bet have stepped in and will now put on free travel for all of the fans who made the 200-mile journey on Friday night. 

Sky Bet sponsorship manager David Tweed said: "It's devastating for those fans to have made such a long trip only to have the game called off because of the weather" He added "We thought we'd make their journey home a little brighter, in the knowledge the rearranged fixture will have been taken care of."
