Sports Traider supports Non League Charity Day

Bucket collections planned for Non League Day 2017, Saturday 7 October, are kicking off a season of fundraising and collections of any unwanted kit and sporting equipment to help more disadvantaged children and young people in the UK fulfil their sporting potential, whatever their background, ability or disability.

Sports Traider , founded in 2009, teamed up with the EVO-STIK League's clubs this week to launch an online campaign to support the fundraising drive and official start date to donate old or unwanted kit and equipment that can still be put to good use.

Sports Traider stated "We also help individuals who contact us and ask for our support to enable them to continuing playing football and other sports with covering transport and kit cost as their parents are unable or pay for this, it may only be £100 but that money could well prevent these vulnerable youngsters from being drawn into darker areas such as gang culture"

They added: "We hope that you can continue to support us so generously and we thank each and everyone of you for giving us the opportunity again this season to continue putting smiles on the faces of the youngsters up and down the country by supporting us, whether with some loose change at a match or by donating some old kit that you don't need anymore.”
